Gettysburg and York Baseball

One of the family trips Cam and I took was to Pennsylvania. Cameron's Uncle- Dave plays baseball out there for York. So we decided to take a trip out there to see him play and take a small tour around Gettysburg!

We also visited some interesting shops, one on which we tried on fun hats....we are going to use these hats on our first Safari...ha! Other than that we just had fun touring around the fun town!

We had fun, and would love to go back when they reenact the war! How cool, but we hear it is crazy packed, so we will see! Like I said before we also got to see Cameron's Uncle Dave pitch for the York Revolution Baseball team. Dave has previously pitched in the Majors for some big name teams, but had hip surgery so is recovering and getting back into pitching before he makes his way back to play in the Majors. But is was fun to watch him pitch. He is awesome!

All in all it was fun to get away and have a mini vacation. And fun to see the country. Since we have been in the city we are starting to miss the country life we had in Buena Vista. Ok maybe not, but it still was fun!
