As we get closer to the arrival of our little guy into this world, we are getting prepared each day. We have the nursery just about finished and ready, we are getting all the necessary equipment together, and continuing with all the many many doctor's appointments. This last week, Cameron was able to come with me! The first appointment was another ultrasound. I was going in again to look at the growth of the baby. My doctors have been a little unclear as to when I will deliver because the baby is measuring about 2-3 weeks ahead of schedule. As they did the ultrasound I could see how big he was measuring, and he is big...especially his head...I think he gets this from his daddy!!! I also had one of my fears put to rest during the ultrasound-he is still a boy! I keep having these dreams lately that when I deliver I actually deliver a girl rather than a boy...sheesh that would not be a good surprise! However, we did have a surprise of our own at the ultrasound. Our technician had a student with her and asked if it was ok for her to watch as she did my ultrasound. I didn't mind so she stayed, about halfway through she asked me if it was ok if she did some 3-D images. Ummm....YES!!! She said he was moving so well and wanted to show the student! What a treat, it was so much fun to see him again and to see his little features. However, you could tell that there isn't' much room in there anymore, his hand was always up by his face and the umbilical cord was too! But we got some more images of our little guy.

Cameron seems to have it in his mind that our little guy has my nose. That is all he has talked about since we saw the pictures. (By the way, we have not picked a name yet for him, thus the reason we continue to call him "little guy")
On Thursday I had my regular appointment with my doctor and I thought it would have been just like all the others, which last about 5 minutes. The doctor came in and she read what they radiologist said about the ultrasound. They suggested that my date should change from September 20th to September 8th and if I don't go by then they should induce. However, my doctor wants to make sure that this is accurate, so I am going for yet another ultrasound. This one is at a specialist's office and is usually only for those who have high risk pregnancies. I am not high risk, but my doctor didn't want to change the due date and then induce me if I had not delivered by then and either the baby or me not be ready resulting in a C-section. I agreed, and so I scheduled another ultrasound for Friday August 14. Wish me luck that this ultrasound will be able to give an accurate reading to help my doctors decide what to do!
Other than that as I said before we are just getting ready for him to come! Cameron and I are getting really excited and can't wait to play with him! We will continue to keep you all posted on the events of this pregnancy!
