Good Friends

One of the greatest things about going home is being able to visit with old friends. While I was home I got to see a few old friends that I haven't seen in a long time and got to catch up. I am so thankful for friends. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have good friends. The greatest thing about friends is that even though I haven't seen them in long time- it felt almost like no time had past. We sat and talked and shared stories but it felt so comfortable. I wasn't there long enough to see everyone I wanted but I was thankful for the friends I was able to visit with!

My good friend Jenna Czirban Conover came with her adorable daughter Afton and we visited. Jenna and her family lived down the street from me growing up and I practically lived at their house sometimes. So it was so fun to see her again and catch up!

Another fun visit I had was with a family I met on my mission. The Pilkingtons lived in Missouri and then moved out to California about an hour away from my home. So we went to their beautiful home and had an amazing dinner and laughed and talked of fun memories. I couldn't believe how much everyone had grown up since I had seen them last. They are such a great family who helped me and taught me so much while I was on my mission.

So this photo is a picture of a trip I took in high school with my school choir to Hawaii. In this photo the girl sitting down in the dark blue shirt was a good friend of mine. Her name is Jayme Garcia Christensen. She was another friend that I was able to see while I was home. She is now married with a son named Jense. He is so handsome! It was fun to see her and talk to her about photography since she is an amazing photographer! However after all the talk of photography we didn't take a picture while she was there, but I thought this would be a fun blast from the past photo. And yes I was rockin' some amazing bangs back then...don't be jealous!

I am so grateful for great friends, both near and far, and ones that I should keep in better touch with and those I talk to everyday. To all my friends wherever you are, THANK YOU! Each of you have been in my life at a certain time and for a certain reason. I am a better person all around because each of you have touched my life! I am nothing without my family and especially without my friends! Thank you!
