Every year since Cameron and I have lived in the DC area we have gone to the Air Show at Andrews Air Force Base. If you can remember...the first year we got FRIED! So last year we learned our lesson-but I will still dying of the heat and I was swelling up because I was pregnant at the time. So this year we were excited to take Colby to the Air show. It started out being a wonderful beautiful day!

We put Cameron's shooting ear protection on Colby for some of the loud planes

As I said the day started out great. However, for me it quickly went downhill. I started to get very sick (as you can see in that picture of Colby and I...I am really pale, and no I am not usually THAT white). I ended up taking Colby back to the car where he took a nap in his car seat and I laid down the seats and also took a nap. Cameron and our friend Brandon stayed at the show, but by the time they came back I was not doing good. I ended up having a fever of 102.2 chills and aches/pains, and the next day I went to the Urgent Care to be told that I had an ear infection in both ears and really bad strep. But even though I felt horrible pretty much the whole day, the time we did spend there was, as always, so fun and Colby LOVED seeing the airplanes and just being outside! Hopefully next year everything will go better and both Colby and I can stay and watch all of the show!
