It happens once a year...a day that I think get little recognition, but one that deserves a lot of credit. Today is Father's Day and I have been thinking a lot about the wonderful men in my life that deserves for this day to be celebrated more than just once a year! I first couldn't help but think of my brother and my brother in laws. They are some of the most amazing men and fathers I know. Not only have they been like fathers at times in my life but they are now fathers to my nieces and nephews and wonderful husbands to my sister's and sister in laws.
Within the past couple years I also was able to add another father into my life. My amazing father in law. The more I get to know him the more I love him for the man/father/grandfather he is to me and my family. He is such a strong and intelligent man who also doubles as a big teddy bear! I know many people say this about their father in law's but honestly I think I got the best of them out there!

Because of him and his example- I in turn lucked out with yet another wonderful man in my life. My amazing husband! For the past 9 months I have been privileged to watch Cameron as a father. There is nothing like watching your husband play with your son, wipe his tears (and butt..ha ha), make him laugh, and see the way that Cameron looks at Colby. It has made me fall in love with Cameron all over again. I thought for sure when Cameron and I got married and settled, life couldn't get any better. I was wrong.
Cameron continues to surprise me with the amount of love he has for both Colby and for me! Cameron, I love you so much for the amazing husband and father that you are to us!

Lastly, but certainly not least by any stretch is my dad! How do I begin!? My dad is one of my hero's. He is a man that has always been there for me when times are rough and is there to rejoice with me when I am having a good day. He's been there countless times to help guide and direct me through life. My dad has always been there to support me and cheer me on. He has taught me how to be silly and have fun, but know when it's time to get to work. My dad is an example to me and has helped shaped me to become the woman I am and the woman I hope to become. Dad I love you with all my heart. Thank you for everything you have done for me and especially Colby. I can't even begin to thank you for the Father you have been to me in my life and I can't imagine how much I am in debt to you over all these years! What I can do is tell you how much I love you and thank you for being such a great dad in my life and a wonderful Papa to Colby! We love you so much! Happy Fathers Day!
