Outdoor fun...

In Virginia there are a lot of National Parks and lots of great trails to go on short hikes and walks. We thought we would take advantage of them and the beauty along the trails, so we headed to Lake Fairfax. It has some beautiful nature hikes. So we grabbed the backpack, strapped Colby in and off we went.

Cameron and I both took turns carrying Colby, however I do have to confess that I didn't last too long. But it's not what you think. Colby found my hair and was constantly pulling it and yanking my head back and pulling chunks out so it was just easier to have Cameron carry him!
We were both surprised at how great Colby did in the backpack. He loved it actually!
Even though Colby really just got to sit back and enjoy the ride, he was the one that got all tuckered out and fell asleep in the backpack. However, his head just kept flopping all over the place as we walked and he couldn't just relax his head...it sure was cute!

We had so much fun enjoying the beautiful outdoors!
