My parents house in Utah has a wonderful view out there kitchen windows and off their balcony. Yesterday we watched as a storm move across the valley. We heard as the thunder rolled and watched as the lightning would strike. I just wish I was a better photographer so I could capture the lightning because it was so beautiful the way it lit up the sky.
We also saw not only rain drops falling but hail.
Colby loved watching the rain and hail, but he loved even more playing in the puddles that they left.

He loved walking back and forth...I just liked his little footprints that he left
However, Colby hated having to get clean from getting so dirty outside.
Since then we have had some great storms, that unlike Virginia, have brought cooler weather. These storms are also a lot more fun to watch as the move across the sky.

yes, watching the storms move across they sky would be better out west, considering that in virginia-you can only see the sky in patches through the trees.
