What will we do next....

It seems like every time my mom and I get together we get ourselves into some interesting predicaments. This time was no different. We have been working hard to get my mom's house all unpacked, organized and decorated. My parents have a very large wall that we needed to somehow put some sort of home decor up. We went shopping down in Springville and found this great rod iron wall decoration. However, after my mother purchased it we took it out to the car to find that we couldn't get it to fit. This is not the first time my mom and I have bought some sort of furniture and then had problems loading and getting it home! But I came up with a brilliant idea (as always). All my mother had in her trunk was a blanket so we put the blanket on top of the car and then placed the rod iron decoration on top of that. Then rolled down our windows and held on to the piece. We had to stick to city streets vs. the freeway because if we went over 40mph it would begin to lift and it was harder to hold onto it. We got some pretty funny looks as we drove all the way from Springville to Cedar Hills....both of our fingers and arms had fallen asleep by the time we got home.
You'd think that there is where the fun ended...oh no! Then we had to actually put it up on the very large wall. Oh and did I mention that it was the wall that had stairs going down?! Let the fun begin! I could try and explain the acrobatics that I felt like I did when I put this up, but I am sure I would just confuse you. So trust me when I say that it was not easy and I even recall telling my mom to make sure to tell Cameron and Colby how much I loved them!
Somehow we were able to get this home and get it up without any injury. My mom now says that if they ever move again that this piece will be sold with the house because there is no way we are taking it down! Until our next adventure Mom...I can't wait!
