My last creative project was with my last sister in law Tabatha. She helped me make my very first quilt. This is my kind of quilt too, because it's all straight lines! We had some good times putting it together...Thanks Tabby for all your help, I had so much fun!

Creative Gene?!
Those of you who know my mom know how creative she is....and how creatively challenged I am! However, while I was in Texas something came over me and I all of a sudden decided I should give this creativity thing a try! It first started with my sister in law-Tanya. She had a halloween party to go to so we had to start thinking of what costume she should wear. We came up with the idea that she would go as Jessie from Toy Story, and her date would go as Woody. However, we had no access to a sewing machine...but somehow the creative juices started to flow and this was the end result:

You can do almost anything with scissors and liquid stitch! But it didn't stop there...my other sister in law Tiffany was having a baby shower while I was there and I wanted to make a creative gift that I had once seen. I used onsies, receiving blankets, and socks to create these little "goodies":

Like I said this was my first time making these cupcakes, little candies, and lollypops...so if you can't really tell what they are I understand. But I learned a lot for the next time I attempt to make this gift!

These were just fluke creative moments, because I continue to call my mom everyday to help with creative ideas for projects! However, it was fun to take a look back at what I accomplished, but don't count on the fact that this creative gene is here to stay!
