Our Sad Day :-(

So Cameron and I knew that when we moved up to DC we would make changes, some good and some bad. However, we both shared our own type of sadness, since we have been here. Now, Cameron doesn't agree with me that my is actually a sad moment but for me it was. Upon moving up to DC I have now had to give up my California status. I traded in my California license and license plates for Virginia ones! Cameron still laughs at me, but for all you that have gone through this you know what I am talking about. About the only upside to this hard change for me is that at least my picture on my license is actually a pretty good one! Ha ha!
Our next sad day I guess was a little harder, and was in fact a mutally sad day for both Cameron and I. On May 9, 2008 Cameron had to say goodbye to his other true love. His motorcycle. It was an interesting week. On that Monday Cameron posted his bike on Craigslist. On Tuesday he got home from work and had 8 emails of interest in the bike. Cameron picked the person he thought would enjoy it and later that night he came by to see it. And Friday it was finalized. We are both sad to have said goodbye!

Isn't she pretty when she is all cleaned up! And yes that is my wonderful brother in the background! Gotta love him! Even though we are sad to see it go we look forward to our next bikes...and yes I did say bikes, because next time I will have my own!

Funny, but just TODAY I was contemplating the imminant future of my own car's license plates. We've been in Ohio since August, and I haven't been able to bring myself to switch my Utah plates. Maybe next month...maybe. Welcome to the blog world!!

I had a similar day when we had to make the transition to Ohioans. We had to register our car here 3 months after we'd registered in Utah, so we ended up keeping our Utah plates until the very last minute. :(
