December

December started out great. Cameron and I decided to try and find a new place that might be cheaper and bigger. Well we found a place that was bigger, and we are paying the same amount so I guess that is good. So we packed up our condo in Reston and moved about 5 minutes down the road to Herndon. We now have a beautiful 3 bedroom condo that we are enjoying. (I will go into more detail about the condo in a later blog) We moved in to the new place and unpacked what we could and then left less then a week later for our Christmas vacation.
We met all of Cameron's family in Texas and took a family vacation on a cruise to Jamaica, Cozumel, and Grand Cayman Islands. It was my first cruise and it was great! We had so much fun! It was a 7 day cruise and it was such a great experience. If you have never gone a cruise I would suggest going on one. I loved it and would go again and again if I could. The food was great, and there was always TONS of it. The entertainment was good, interesting at times, but for the most part really good. We had lots of fun on each of the ports as well. In Jamaica we played on the beach and did some shopping in the the town, and for both Cozumel and Grand Caymans, we did scuba diving. That was so much fun, I have to admit the first dive I was really nervous and would not let go of Cameron's hand. (Keep in mind I had only dove in a small pond that is only for diving and the farthest we went down was 20 feet. So going on the Ocean...a bit scary...I took my cue from Nemo's dad, and stayed away from the drop off.) Anyway but by our second dive I was feeling much more comfortable and was able to dive without any hand holding. Unfortunately during one of the dives, the camera got lost so we don't have any pictures of that, but we have a cool dive video so that is cool. Other than that we just enjoyed relaxing and like I said eating way too much. Below are some of the pictures from the cruise!
That is Cameron's nephew...I don't know how we ended up with him, but as you can see he was not happy and didn't want his life jacket! Ha ha! Below is the first night that was formal. It was fun to get all dressed up, and to see Cameron in a tux...I could be biased, but he looks good if I do say so myself.

This was our day of recreation. We played some golf on the top deck of the ship and as you can see it was a big windy. We had fun trying to keep our gold ball actually where we placed it. And oh my goodness the volleyball court...well as you can see it is the smallest court I have ever seen, and again because of the wind, you never knew what was going to happen to the ball. As you can see that didn't stop Cameron, look at him and his blocking skills. Needless to say with both activities we had some good laughs!

My First Experience with snails mmm so good! Well at least the butter it was smothered in was good.it was an experience, when will I ever get the chance to have any of this type of food again and not pay a fortune for it!If you ever go on a cruise try everything!

My favorite was every night after we would get back from dinner and the night shows, we would come to our room to be greeted by the towel animals. They were a lot of fun!
By the time the cruise was over I was glad to be back on solid ground but I missed the relaxation that came with the cruise. But it was a great time and one I can't wait to do again!

Hey there cousin! I loved reading your blog, I really miss you guys.
Your cruise looks so awesome! My mom and dad want to take Julie and I on a cruise this September but for different reasons our husbands can't go. We're still planing on going anyway and I can't wait. I hear so many good things about going on a cruise.
