Thanksgiving

Hello everyone, ok I know it's been a while and I guess all the people bugging me to update it has finally worked. So I am going to give you all a cliff's notes version of what has been happening within the last few months, and my goal for the future is to be better! But lets face it, I spend all day on the computer at work and the last thing I want to do is come online again...just being honest here! Anyway let's get started!

So this year since we were planning our big Christmas trip we ended up staying in town for Thanksgiving. We decided to spend it with our friends Derik and Maria and their kids, and Maria and decided to make the dinner...which kind of scared me, I am not going to lie. But all in all it turned out great and we didn't burn anything. It was a lot of fun to make it for the first time, but wow I have a new appreciation for my mom, because that was a lot of work, and we didn't even have a lot of stuff. Just the basics, but still! Again it was a lot of fun, and I really enjoyed cooking and got excited about doing more. Don't get me wrong I am not about to open up a catering business or anything but it just gave me the confidence to know I can do hard things!
