Mom and Dad Mahaffey come to visit

So it's almost been a whole year since I have seen my parents and so we thought it was a good time for them to come and visit. They first went to Indiana to be there for the birth of my sister, Brooke's, 5th boy! They stayed there for a couple weeks and then went to my brother and sister in laws place down in Buena Vista, and last but not least they came and visited us! We only had a few days so we packed them full of things to do. They came and visited me at work and then we went onto Cameron's work and met him for lunch downtown. We were also able to go to the DC Temple and do a session with them.

Saturday was an adventure. I think we walked my parents to death. We first went the spy museum (which if you ever come to DC I would recommend it! It is a fun museum). From there we went to Mount Vernon just in time to walk through the home and the grounds...which were beautiful!




By the time we got done walking all over DC we came home and I think maybe Cameron and I were a little more worn out than my parents were, because we sat down and we fell asleep right away!

On Sunday we decided to go to Great Falls. We also brought our friend Maria and her awesome kids, Isaac and Isabella (Izzy for short). We had fun just walking on the trails and see the beauty that we get to be surrounded by!

It was a great week and it was so fun to see and spend time with my parents again. I am so grateful for my parents and for their wonderful love and their example to me. I don't know what I would do without them in my life. They are my hero's! I am the luckiest girl in the world to have the best parents in the world. I love you both so much and we can't wait for you to come back and visit...but this time for longer!!!
