It's all about the shoes...

Most girls out there have a fetish with shoes-they can't get enough of them. I on the other hand, have an obsession with coats/jackets. However, in an effort to make me more girlie my wonderful Mother in law and Sister in law are teaching me that really it's all about the shoes. For Christmas one of my presents was to go to DSW and pick out a pair of shoes. So I went, walking up and down each of the rows (ps there are about a million rows) to try and find something that I thought would work, but honestly wasn't finding anything. Then my Mother in law and Sister in law told me to try and pick something I wouldn't normally pick- to find a "fun" shoe. Again this was not helping me find the shoe I wanted. (As most of you know I am not a good shopper...AT ALL, in fact I stink at it!) Then they found a shoe that somehow they convinced me to get.
Now again for most of you that know me all I wear are some $3 Old Navy flip flops- so to put these babies on was a bit much for me (especially since the color on the shoe is a much brighter red-thing ruby red slipper from Wizard of Oz)! Since then I have worn the shoes a handful of times and each time I get a ton of compliments from everyone who sees them! So to my wonderful Mother in law- Deb and my Sister in law- Tanya, I want to say thank you for encouraged me to get something "fun"! And I guess they are right...it is all about the shoes!
