Texas Trip (Part 1- Dallas)

About 2 weeks ago Colby and I went on a trip out to visit Nonnie and Poppie Sanders. Cameron was away on business so we took that opportunity to go out to Texas. We had so much fun while we were there. When we first got there we drove from Houston to Dallas (about 4 1/2 hours) where Cameron's cousin was playing in a volleyball tournament. There we met up with Aunt Robin and Terryn (the awesome volleyball player), Tabatha, Clay and the boys! It was Colby's first time meeting Aunt Robin and Terryn, and for Tabatha and Clay it's been since Christmas. We all had so much fun and it was great to expose Colby to the best sport ever to be played..ha ha!

If you have ever been to a big volleyball tournament you know that it can be loud. And while we were in the convention center it was! At times it was hard to get Colby to sleep, however with a BIG help from Poppie, Colby got some good naps in! And at one point Colby fell asleep sitting on my lap with my hand covering his ear to keep the sound from waking him up.

We had so much fun, and it continued when we were driving back to Houston. In Texas along the side of the highway there are tons of Blue Bonnet Flowers. It's illegal to pick these flowers, but not illegal to take pictures in them!!!
This picture is not great of me because it was so bright my eyes were watering the whole time

The Dallas trip was a success and it was so fun to have Colby meet some new members of the family and to see his Aunt, Uncle and cousins!
