Trip to Texas (Part 2...Finally)

So it's taken a few days for me to get back on doing the blog. Life has been crazy and I've just been really tired so I haven't been able to finish, but here is the other part of our trip to Texas- spent in Houston. When we first arrived in Houston- the airline somehow was able to get my luggage to Houston however, the car seat did not make it. Luckily the airline was able to give us a "loner" car seat until they were able to deliver the car seat later that night (almost midnight)! After filling out paperwork and such we met up with Poppie at work and then headed to one of the best mexican restaurants ever. They have the most amazing quesadilla's ever! And of course we had to take a picture rub it in Cameron's face that we went there and he didn't!
We also had to make Daddy jealous by getting Kolache's for breakfast one morning. If you have never had a kolache you are missing out. They are so good and I am pretty sure it's native to Texas because I've never seen them anywhere else!
While we were there on Monday night it was "Ladies Night" at the shooting range- which means I shoot for free. So Poppie and I went to the shooting range. It started out pretty good but little did I know that Poppie was giving me a more powerful gun each time so each time it scared me on the first shot. But all in all I did ok..a few more times of "Ladies Night" and I think I might give Cameron a run for his money...well at least I'd like to think anyway!
I tried to look tough and ended up just looking like a fool! We did a lot of other activities while we were in Houston however, those pictures will just have to wait- because I didn't use my camera all the time so I am waiting on the other pictures! But we want to thank Nonnie and Poppie for such an amazing trip! We were so lucky to have spent the week with them and had so much fun! We love you both so much and can't wait to see you again soon!
